In this Blog, we explain how Artic Purity Skincare is designed and formulated as a Symphony of complementary ingredients in each Step to not only support but augment the performance of the next. We also emphasize the importance of cultivating consistency of use, as necessary to achieve successful anti-aging results. As with holding on to a gym membership without attendance, no results will be achieved.

AHA/BHA CLEANSER – Way more than just a surface soap cleanser, our AHA/BHA Cleanser is formulated with AHA lactic and fruit acids, as well as white willow bark for the BHA salicylic acid performance to deep cleanse pores effectively. Our BHA white willow bark is not a chemical extract, but in cosmetic grade powder form for maximum potency.
There are 5 layers of cells in the epidermis. New cells are “birthed” on the bottom layer or Stratum Basale, then travel upwards to the top layer or Stratum Corneum where they die and need to be shed. It is this layer of dead skin cells if not shed that result in a dull, devitalized complexion with a host of skin issues like acne, milia, sebaceous filaments, open and closed comedones etc. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that this layer of dead skin cells get removed adequately for new skin cells to come to the surface.
The skin’s normal pH is 5.5. This balance is slightly disrupted and brought lower by the Cleanser which as a pH of around 4.8 as a wake-me-up on the skin to instigate it’s self-reparation processes. Our skin is an intelligent organ capable of responding to impetuses to kick-start its own self-preservation mechanism.

AHA/BHA TONER – In addition to completing the initial wash-off epidermal cleansing step, our leave-on AHA/BHA Toner contains a low percentage of acids to gently continue with the deep pore cleansing performance to effectively reduce pore size for a smoother texture and refinement of skin tone. We don’t stop there. More than just a basic hydrosol toner, we have added marine minerals not present in land plants plus a plethora of botanical extracts and peptides to further improve the skin’s lipid content and hydration, while promoting firmness for a glowing complexion.
Our Toner also makes an excellent Aftershave for men as the astringent effect of our non-alcohol Witch Hazel, Lavender and Peppermint floral waters work in tandem to soothe irritation and razor bumps, calm inflammation while performing as a safe and cooling natural fragrance.
EYE GEL/FACE SERUM – Now that the skin surface is adequately cleansed and toned, it is ready to absorb the necessary nutrients essential for enhancing skin regeneration and reparation on the cellular level. Serums are water-based in a small-enough molecular size to penetrate the skin’s dermis where the skin’s major activities take place. Serums carry antioxidants like Vitamins to fight free radicals that cause premature aging, and also specialty ingredients to target specific skin issues.
As it is our core philosophy to deliver the best possible skincare and optimal results against premature aging, we do not separate eye gel and face serum ingredients into 2 separate bottles. This simplifies 2 Steps into 1, nourishing the whole face with the highest quality ingredients normally formulated for the eye area at a whole different premium price-point.
LUXE RENEWAL NIGHT CREAM – Serums are not oil-based in general as oil molecules are too large to penetrate the dermis layer of the skin. Serums also perform the function of firming and lifting skin. Some mistakenly equate this tightening effect to “dryness” which it isn’t. Hence, it becomes necessary to follow our Serum with a Cream in which nutritious oils and butters provide the hydrated feel as it works as a moisture barrier on the epidermis for the skin to feel soft and hydrated as the nourishment effect is extended into the night.
Cell renewal and repair takes place when the body is at rest. This is the reason why Vitamins-rich Rosehip and detoxifying Honeysuckle extracts are formulated into our Night Cream.
ZO Sunblock Day Cream – As a protection against UVA and UVB rays, our Day Cream is formulated with 12% non-nano Zinc Oxide in 325 mesh size and 10% skin-coloured mica with Titanium Dioxide. Non-nano Zinc Oxide does not penetrate the skin, but performing as a true sunblock, sits on the skin surface together with the mineral mica/Titanium Dioxide as a layer of reflective mirrors to bounce off UVA and UVB rays. Reapplication is recommended if wiped or washed off after a swim. 2-hourly reapplication is recommended if exposed to direct sunlight continually throughout the day, due to profuse perspiration.
